One of my first corporate headshot clients got back to me recently and asked if I could do their updated photos for their law firm based in downtown Toronto. I originally shot their staff a few years ago and now with a new staff and new location, they wanted to get updated headshots as well as some lifestyle, casual shots for use on their website.
The firm had around 6 staff that needed shooting. The client also wanted some group shots and some candid of them all in discussion. The photos were mostly for their website but also for their LinkedIn profiles and other social media and promotional material
As they are very busy, they wanted me to come and shoot from their office, which sometimes can be tricky given the space and the size of lighting equipment. The space was fine though and I found a little nook to set up in while I bright them over one by one to shoot their single headshots first.
Once those shots were finished, I gathered them all into their waiting room to get the group shots and the candids.
I shot mostly of the photos using a single light source with a 100mm and a 50mm lens.
